What does MEGCON stand for, and what does the company do? +
MEGCON is the trading name for Megaleio Consult Limited — a Ghana-based oil and gas consultancy providing HSE consultancy, project cost control, technical manpower supply, project management support, and operational & logistics services to the upstream energy sector.
Which sectors and geographies does MEGCON serve? +
We primarily serve the upstream oil and gas sector in Ghana. We also support downstream petroleum activities. Our long-term vision is pan-African, with expansion plans into Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, and broader West Africa.
How do you approach HSSE on client projects? +
HSSE is core to everything we do — not an add-on. We operate under a strict HSSE management system aligned with international oil and gas standards, and our target is zero harm to people, assets, and environment. Every engagement includes an HSSE induction at contract award. Our KPI target is zero lost time incidents and zero client HSSE complaints.
Can MEGCON supply manpower for short-term or urgent assignments? +
Yes. We provide technical manpower on short-term, long-term, contract, and secondment bases. Our network includes experienced Ghanaian professionals and diaspora specialists returning from international O&G roles. Personnel are vetted for competency and mobilised with appropriate HSSE induction.
What fee arrangements does MEGCON offer? +
We offer flexible commercial arrangements to suit the nature of each engagement — including time-and-materials, lumpsum fixed price, and retainer-based models. Each engagement is structured with clear deliverables, timelines, and fee terms agreed at contract stage.
Is MEGCON licensed by Ghana's Petroleum Commission? +
MEGCON has acquired Petroleum Commission license for General Consultancy and Manpower Supply. We are incorporated in Ghana under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) and operate with a dedicated compliance calendar and external audit process.
